Fame completely unable to support the glass. One week later fell off the wall and smashed to smithereens. All hangings intact. Frame was nearly falling apart before it was completed and hung. Don't buy.

Why excellent buy

Bought for my mum who had downsized from a 3 ,bedroom large house into a 2 bedroom bungalow. So after being 46 years there we all 4 children married from there. Her favourite family photographs of holidays, weddings and grandchildren look fabulous and very tidy too. Thank you so much.

Falls Apart!

Whatever you do don't pick it up by the frame, it will fall apart. I bought the 18 aperture white frame today. Took the cellophane off and as I did so the top of the frame bent, pulling away in the middle from the rest of it! I tried each of the other sides and they all pulled away from the glass in the middle too, with the gentlest pull. Whatever the material the frame is made of it can't be wood, more like cardboard to bend like that. If you hold it carefully by the sides, and hang it from the fixing on the back, the bendy frame should, I think, stay together. I really need a frame with lots of standard size apertures and can't afford much so I'll keep it and try to reinforce it somehow before hanging it.

Perfect for me!

I read the (1 star) review about the 20 aperture frame, which looked very similar to this one. That made me really hesitant about going ahead with this purchase, even though it was exactly what I wanted. Anyway, I got it and it looks great on the wall! It might not be super-sturdy, but certainly sturdy enough for it's purpose. I'm very pleased with it!
