Blackthorn, created in 1892, was initially block-printed and includes white blackthorn (or sloe) blossom and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. Beautiful but…
I bought this wallpaper for a hallway on a landing. The bottom half of the wall is panelling. The pattern is absolutely beautiful and the paper was easy to line up and looks great. However, the paper is not very colourfast - wiping with a sponge even gently removed patches of colour. In addition, which caulking along the divide between the wallpaper and the panelling I used tape (specific to this purpose!) to protect the wallpaper from the caulk. Unfortunately the tape ripped off the top layer of the pattern in patches. I would say great paper if you don’t have to do anything fancy with it, but a bit too delicate. I am concerned about how it will last.

I bought this wallpaper because it goes perfectly with my decor. It gives the room a warm feel.

Colour rubs off and paper shrinks when drying.
Looked great at first but paper shrunk overnight and left gaps on all the joints. Whilst wiping any excess paste off I found the print started coming off so.you have to be really careful not to clean it too much or it fades. Very disappointed with the quality and may have to remove and re-apply to close the gaps. Not worth the high cost per roll when you have those sort of issues.

looks beautiful
product was delivered quickly, and when it came to putting it up, it was a dream. I hadn't realised it was a paste the wall product, which meant I could very quickly roller the paste on the wall and up it went. Because it's quite a dark paper I made sure to pre-paint vertical stripes where the paper joins would be with the matching paint I bought (Blue Shale, Valspar premium) in case of shrinkage. It looks great up.

Excellent product
Extremely pleased with finished result. This wallpaper is excellent quality, giving good coverage of slight wall imperfections.
