Our Yuzet Ground Cover Membranes consist of tightly woven polypropylene threads and are UV resistant which guarantees a long product lifespan.
The membranes are permeable for water and air, but reliably block weed growth without the need for chemicals.
They are used in gardens and nurseries or for general landscaping. Ground cover membranes can also be used underneath paths and driveways as a means of stabilising the ground while preventing weed growth at the same time.
Our ground cover membranes can be used by themselves or you can cover them with mulch, gravel or stones.
They are usually black with green planting lines, but we also produce white ones which are especially suitable for the use on fruit plantations. The material reflects sunlight which ensures that fruit ripens evenly on all sides.
- Yuzet woven weed control fabric is easily applied and very simple to lay! Most of our landscapers / gardeners use the square meter measurement. Measure the width of the area and length of the area you wish to cover. Then multiply the length by the width , which will give you the square meter ( sqm2 ). Once you’ve received your woven yuzet weed control fabric, follow these simple steps. Turn over the area to be covered and make sure any sharp weeds / stalks are removed Lay your chosen fabric on top of the prepared soil, if you need to overlap make sure you leave around 25cm.

Yuzet woven weed control fabric was tested and found to have a flow rate of
6.8 (GPM/FT2) or 275.2 (LPM/M2)
Weed control fabrics / Ground cover membranes should be water permeable, this means water
and nutrients should pass through to the soil below. The higher the flow rate the less chance you
have of puddling on the surface. As a general rule the higher the GPM ( gallons per minute ) the less chance of this there is.
