Can I book a showroom appointment in ROI?
Our showrooms remain open, however, if you would prefer to, you can book a virtual kitchen planning appointment here.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
It’s now mandatory to wear a face covering while shopping in ROI, so we’re selling face masks in all our stores across the country to help you stay safe.
How do I return items?
When shopping in our stores we continue to ask all our customers to follow the Government’s social distancing guidelines and to shop responsibly only when they need to.
That being said, we want customers to be delighted with the products they buy from B&Q but, if they change their mind, they can return the purchase in its original condition within 135 days. They will just need the receipt, order confirmation, or sales invoice and we will exchange the product or issue a refund.
We are unable to offer refunds or to exchange products that have been cut to size, made to measure or mixed to customer’s individual requirements. Products which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, including perishable products such as plants or turf, will not be exchanged or refunded unless they are faulty or incorrectly delivered.
If the product you purchase is faulty, or not as described, we may offer an exchange, refund or repair as appropriate.
We have temporarily amended our returns policy to help protect our colleagues and customers. If you’re unable to return your product because of the current restrictions we will accept a late return providing that the product meets all of the other terms of our returns policy, including proof of purchase requirements.
As part of the social distancing measures at our reopened store, refunds are being processed at the checkouts, rather than refund desks.

Can I still order items for Home Delivery?
Yes, you can shop in store for contact-free home delivery. We are experiencing increased demand for home deliveries, which means that delivery slots may get booked up quickly. Some products may also be temporarily unavailable. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We ask you for your understanding in these challenging times while we work on improving this.
Are you extending credit notes?
Credit notes are valid for 12 months. However, if your credit note expired while our stores were temporarily closed, you are still able to use it. The manager of your local store will be able to sort this out for you.
