Plant trays

If you’re keen to grow your own plants, fruit, and vegetables from scratch, plant trays are the way to go. We have many different types of plant trays to choose from depending on what type and how many seedlings and cuttings you wish to grow.

The trays are made from sturdy and durable materials that are designed to protect the seeds until they are well established. You can then pot them on or plant them using other products in our gardening and lawn care range. Once filled, you can place your plant tray on a sunny windowsill or greenhouse where you can easily see the progress of your seedlings and cuttings and water them whenever necessary.

As well as plant trays, we also sell propagators that come with vents that allow you to control the inside temperature. As young plants are particularly at risk of frost damage in the colder months, plant trays can be used to give them extra protection when the night-time temperatures are too cold to assist with germination. Our trays that include covers also offer protection from pests and help to incubate young seedlings in a nurturing, sheltered environment until they are strong enough to be rehomed.
