Totally messed up my front door trying to paint over wood stain with Satin wood which just split and wouldn't cover. Bought some of this this morning after reading reviews. It has a very strong odour and it recommends you wear rubber gloves and protective glasses as it's pretty potent stuff! I bought both. Also recommend that you ventilate the room you are using this in. The paint needs to be put on quickly and left as it dries very very quickly. Trying to go over is not recommended as it will ball up. It dries so quickly I was able to put 2 coats on this morning and now set to apply the satin finish again. Very pleased with way it covered over all the split paint. Now thinking about using this as a base coat for other woodwork in my hallway.
Does what it’s supposed to do :)

I’ve been using this for years, if you READ THE LABEL it says use Methylated spirits for clean up! i use high density mini foam rollers, 2 coats job done! No bleed through good base for painting, happy customer

Only use this paint if you have absolutely no other options.
It's cellulose based paint, so it goes off almost as soon as it goes down, so unless you're prepared to work incredibly quickly, then you are in trouble. It runs, so makes working quickly really tough. Be prepared to see drags and scuffs in your paint.
Don't paint this using an expensive brush, buy one that you will throw away. Buy two if you need to apply two coats. White spirit or turpintine will not clean your brush, the only solution that will is either cellulose paint thinners or nail polish remover...and you'll need a lot, so my advise is not to bother.
I would honestly seek out an oil based alternative to this product. It was an absolute pain to work with...I would never choose it again.
I've yet to decide

I bought this after doing a lot of research as I wanted a primer that would cover my mahogany stained staircase. It's very watery and required about 3 coats just to cover. And I think it could have done with another before I finished with a top coat. Hopefully, it's properties will mean that it was worth it for stopping any bleed through.
Painting an old cupboard

I bought this a month ago to undercoat an old wooden cupboard. It provides an excellent base for the top coat of furniture paint, but you have to work it quickly as it dries fast. I suggest two thin coats with sanding in between to get a smooth finish.
