About the store
Situated opposite the town’s historic harbour, B&Q Shoreham-by-Sea stocks a variety of DIY and garden essentials. In store you’ll find everything from fitted kitchens and bathrooms, to power tools, lighting, paint, smart home products and more. In addition, the garden centre supplies pots and plants, BBQs, patio furniture, mowers and a range of outdoor storage. The team also provides bespoke paint mixing, timber cutting and short-term carpet cleaner hire.
What’s in the local area?
Bordered by the South Downs and the River Adur, Shoreham-by-Sea is home to both new harbourside developments and historic buildings. Popular local attractions include an Iron Age hill fort, lifeboat station and shingle beach. The town centre also has a host of waterside bars and restaurants, plus an award-winning monthly farmer’s market. Nearby, you can visit Mill Hill nature reserve – famous for its butterflies – and RSPB Wildfowl Reserve too.
How do you find the store?
By car
From the A27/ Shoreham Bypass, take the A270 exit towards Southwick/ Shoreham. When you get to Holmbush Roundabout, then turn right onto Kingston Lane/ B2167. Follow this road for just over half a mile, then turn right onto Brighton Road/ A259. Continue for another 0.8 miles until you see B&Q Shoreham-by-Sea on your right, just off the main road.
By train
The nearest train station is in Shoreham town centre, half a mile away or 10 minutes’ walk. Exit the station onto Brunswick Road, then turn left onto Ham Road. Continue straight on until after the park on Eastern Avenue, then bear right onto the Brighton Road/ A259 footpath. Continue east for a short distance and you’ll see B&Q on your left.
By bus
The 700 bus service stops outside Halfords, just up from B&Q. Running every 15 minutes, the route covers Brighton to Wick, including Rustington, Southwick and Shoreham. The bus also stops on the high street if you want to visit the town centre too and don’t fancy the walk.

Seeking sophisticated, shaker-style cabinets and drawer fronts? B&Q Shoreham-by-Sea stocks several neutral designs with classic shaker doors, that will complement many décor themes. Signature ranges include Garcinia matt stone with integrated handles and elegant low-profile moulded Artemisia doors. Tailor them with or without handles to suit your taste.
What bathroom ranges are on display?
If you’re hoping to expand the storage in your bathroom, the Imandra collection on display in store could be ideal. This modular range features handy under-basin drawers, mirrored wall cabinets and WC units that neatly house the cistern and pipework.
