Desk light
The light is fine but you cannot buy the bulbs for under £6 which is not good

Lamp was broken
Got this home and didn't think too much of the fact it was half wrapped in plastic and not much else. It was only when I got it out of its wrapping that I realised the base was broken. Can't be bothered to take it back as it would cost more in petrol than the lamp cost me. Cheap Lamp so don't bother. You get what you pay for.

Good value for money.
Bought this lamp for our daughter to take to university. It's stylish, practical and excellent value for an angle poise lamp. We put an Led bulb in it, which costs almost as much as the lamp, but it gives brilliant task lighting and is still cheaper than most other lamps.

Great lamp
Bought for my hubby as he wanted a lamp for reading and hobbies so a bargain for £10 !

Flimsy
I thought the low price of this product was a steal! Though the only steal here was my wasted efforts in hope of a bargain. The price is too good to be true. When I took the product home (store delivered) the plastic that connected the neck of the lamp to the base was snapped. On observation I could see that the plastic was cheap and flimsy. The base which was part metallic and the bottom plastic was cracked. Considering there are incredibly similar products that are double/triple the price I would advise in investing in the latter for a more sustainable lasting product.

For £8, Once fettled it's perfect!
Saw reviews saying not enough reach. So bought it and decided to see if it could be adjusted. The answer was yes it can. 1) Buy the lamp for £8 2) remove bottom springs 3) unscrew the pin where the pins attached too springs at the bottom. 4) remove bottom screw and nut from arm. 5) put pin that held springs where the screw and nut previously sat. 6) re-attach springs to lower point You'll new have a fully extendable anglepoise lamp. You will need to weigh down Base a bit more but hey, for £8 and five mins of adjustment it's about the best value anglepoise lamp there is!

Good Medium Sized Lamp For Your Desk
For the price you get good quality materials and a fairly sturdy construction. It's not as tall as I imagined it to be so make sure you don't get a bulb too bright - as it will wash out the paper you're probably shining it on. Get a bulb with no more than 700 lumens in my estimation and make sure it's 15W or below - the maximum this lamp will support. Labelled price in store was £12 but I was charged the £8 listed here when I got to the till.
