Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's white, it's cheap and it does the job Good value. This is the 2nd one I've bought. First one lasted about 6 yrs. Not bad for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware the Rusty Guard. I bought this just over a month ago to replace an old flakey aluminium floodlight, initially happy but within a month both the Chrome guard & top securing screw are rusting badly. I expected better quality from B&Q. Too expensive to have an electrician to remove it to return.. Sigh.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MR Only worked for 5 months so I decided to check the bulb. First off I had to remove the screw which was seized had to use release oil and work the screw a little bit at a time until I could remove it. I opened up the lamp and removed the bulb and tested the bulb and it was faulty. You could see corrosion at one end of the bulb. As I can not find my receipt I don't know if b&q will replace the bulb under the 1 year gurantee

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother I bought and installed one of these only 1 week ago and already the rain has managed to get in despite all the seals and gaskets being in place. Waste of time, this one's going back !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oh dear! On my first B&Q security floodlight the PIR has lasted 22 years. The second one 6 years. These (I bought 2) are going back. It was a real struggle to assemble them when standing on a ladder. When I angled the floodlight downwards the PIR went down too and couldn't then be adjusted upwards enough to point down the path. It then became difficult to get even a small screwdriver onto the adjusters because they were too close to the wall. 12 metre range was nonsense and there was no sensitivity adjustment, so they constantly saw leaves rustling in a breeze which meant they stayed permanently on. Finally, they would only wall mount, not under a horizontal overhang for weather protection. I'll just buy 2 new PIRs now and wire them into my old floods.
