This Grey slate gloss wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply 2 coats with a brush or roller and leave for 16 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 10 m² per litre on average.
- Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Treat bare wood & metal with an appropriate undercoat & primer. Treat knots with a knotting solution. Metal surfaces must be free from rust & corrosion.

Better then the well known branded paint
Better coverage and cheaper then the well known brands, I never used the shop own brand thought I give it a go and I am well pleased with the end result.

Excellent quality.
Covered on a white plastic garage door in one coat but gave it another just to make sure. First coat all brush 2nd brush and roller. Very happy

This paint is great - super easy to apply, excellent coverage and the gloss is to die for! Extremely pleased with the results

Nice colour
Nice grey colour is what I expected. Easy to apply too which is a bonus. Why does it say exterior and interior on the tin but not on the website description of paint? It better be for outside as I have painted a metal postbox and some of my garage and my front door!!!

Not the colour I expected
This "grey" has strong blue tones in it. Not the colour on the tin so, for me, it was totally wasted money. The paint did go on the wood very nicely though, so no issue with the actual quality of the paint.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE COLOUR ON THE TIN
The colour on the outside of the tin bears NO resemblance to the colour that is in the tin. Very disappointed. Took ages choosing the right colour wanted a dark slate grey (as in the picture and on the tin) once opened it is a light grey. Was hoping it might dry darker - it didn't. Doesn't match anything I bought it to match to at all. Very misleading. Wasted £12.

Easy to use, good finish
I found this easy to apply and covers well in the first coat, even with a big change of colour. I am applying a second coat only because I have plenty of paint left over! Although no instructions given on tin, I recommend gentle stirring before use. Can't speak for durability because this is the first time I have used it. I think B&Q should offer a mix-in-store range based on *this* product, instead of Valspar which I have found inferior and much more difficult to apply.
