Product information
At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.
Features and benefits
- Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
- We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
- For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat
- Control air pollutants by choosing products with lower solvent levels
- Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money

Not grey but blue
We bought this for our living room thinking it would be a light grey colour, but it actually comes out blue. So change of plan, we are going to pain the hall with it instead. Bought Colours in Platinum for the hallway which is a lovely light grey.

Great quality paint, gorgeous blue grey colour
This paint looks great, the quality is equal to paint I’ve used that was more that twice the price.

Not a one coat paint
Painted over magnolia walls but definitely not a one coat paint. Also dries to a blue finish and less of a grey as it looks in pot. Stick to dulux as it's worth the extra few £ per pot!

patchy cover
bought 2 tubs to paint bedrooms, first cover was very patchy. Had to mix with other paint to make it usable. have used this brand before in different colours and it was great but this colour was a nightmare. More lilac than grey. had to purchase dulux to cover this up. would not recommend

Poor quality paint
I am decorating one of there spare bedrooms and decided to paint the wall in a slate grey matt impulsion, and for once I bought other than Dulux. I bought B & Q Colours. That was my big mistake, I am now on the fourth coat and it is still drying patchy, I think I am going to write it off and purchase a recognised brand. We all learn by our mistakes, and it is one that I will not make again.

Great base coat!!
Excellent base coat for when you inevitably have to go back and buy a proper paint because this one is so bad. Features and benefits: (what it should say) - terrible coverage, will require several coats costing you time and money. Also as others have said the colour looks nothing like the tin. while not a bad colour (light blue) definitely not what its advertised online or even in the tin.

Flaky
I bought this for my bedroom as I love the colour. I used a professional painter & decorator to do the work. The next morning the paint in parts had started to bubble & crack. It took 6 days of sanding & repainting to rectify the paint states any surface but it seems to have had some sort of reaction to the emulsion already on the wall. Be very careful & do a large patch test first.

Great Colour
Bought this paint as I was changing my colour scheme. Covered old paint in one coat.

Lovely colour but terrible aplication qualities
I applied this with my routine roller (I should have used a sponge one, I guess) that I always use for decorating. I am experienced over many years but this really was appalling; if I paused for a few seconds and over worked the edges from the previous finished line, it dragged off the paint already on the wall. I think it was due to some random rubbery content, maybe related to one-coat feature. This never usually happens so I will not buy this paint again. The surface in my loo looks "rubbish." I am not an habitual moaner but this, for me, is not a good paint to buy.

Great, Easy to Use Paint
Used this on wood furniture over a primer and undercoat. Great coverage and was easy to paint on with both roller and brush. The only possible negative is that it has a blue tinge and after varnishing it is more like a duck-egg shell colour but I do love it.
