Before you begin

To get the best performance from a new tap, it’s critical to choose one that suits your home’s water pressure. If you have a low pressure water system, a tap designed to operate at this pressure will help to ensure a steady flow of water. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such helpful service I am an amateur when it comes to DIY, I've done loads but my skills and knowledge are limited. The first tap I bought, which was shorter, was in error, I hadn't noticed it was fixed and not rotatable. When it came to fittings and installation what a star I founding Jim on the plumbing aisle. Loads of unpatronising helpful advice. I think this tap is a bit too tall really but at least you can get a kettle underneath to fill. Fitting into an existing and fully installed location was not an easy job and you do need appropriate spanners for the job. However, the flexible fittings were great in that they fitted direct with loads of PTFE tape (thanks Jim) straight onto in-line tap valves

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great After spending hours in the store unable to decide which new tap to buy I spotted this online reduced to £48, what a bargain. It looks great in my new black composite sink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What are the extra bits for? I've bought this tap and fitted it to a solid wood work-top. 1st bitty point-- the the instruction leaflet diagrams are in the wrong order. 2nd point-- what is the blue castellated key for, it's shown as part no.06 on the parts list but gives no clue as to what it is for. 3rd point--the horseshoe shaped rubber washer, part no. 03 is useless. It doesn't seal anything. I think it's supposed to even out pressure when everything is tightened up but when you do tighten up the steel washer, part no.04, the rubber washer just squeezes out to the side. I've left it of!! Points deducted, its not yet fully plumbed in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish tap I bought this last month for my new kitchen. It's now fitted and everything is working fine. I really like this tap, it's stylish and functional. My only negative comment would be that the water flow isn't as fast flowing as my previous one. But it's not a big issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very poor flow rate! Easy to fit, looks nice, but flow rate is terrible! Will be returning for something different.
