The two countersunk holes provide flush and easy securing via two screws and the steel channel protects the magnet from damage during daily usage.Nickel-plated steel plates work as the base for our Neodymium Channel Magnets. They are used as a striker plate which magnets are attracted to or as keeps to create a closed magnetic circuit.These steel plates are the perfect solution for installing a magnetic surface that magnets will stick to. For example, you could screw one of these plates into a wall and then, using magnets, hang artwork or noticeboards. Each plate can be fixed in place using countersunk screws.
