Not bad
Used this to fit a carpet on my stairs. By the time we'd gotten halfway up the stairs the padded part of the knee kicker had come off. This meant it was no longer suitable for using your knee as it would have been quite painful. We resorted to using a hammer to get the job done. The knife doesn't retract, which could have some safety issues.

Stretcher is poor,
First experience of laying a carpet. Brought this product as it had all 3 essential pieces of equipment in the one box... Perfect I thought! However, the stretcher lasted literally 3 whacks before the foam padding fell off. its only glued on. really annoying! Had to tape it back on with masking tape as needed to finish laying that night. Knew I should have invested in a more expensive version. The knife and other item is fine so that is why i have scored it a 2 star. Will be returning it for a refund as no other options available.

Very good for price
I got this a month ago since then it has helped me lay two carpets with zero damage to the carpets and didnt break it self either, well worth the money

Gets the job done
Tape the padding to the stretcher before use, it comes off really easy, I only kneed mine once and it came off.. apart from that it's pretty good, I fit my stairs and my daughters room to a good standard

Expected better!
Knee pad split during first use, and surface of carpet tucker flaked off. Overall cheap quality at -to be fair - a cheapish price. Will however be returning it for replacement under guarantee.

Medium value basic
Bought this recently and found the knee kicker to only be of mediocre quality- pad too thin and foam disintegrated on the edges on first use- not for frequent or longer term use. The chisel element for edges however was excellent and much sturdier than it looked. Saved much more than the cost on one decent carpet fitting though so not too dissatisfied-it did serve the purpose.

couple of issues
For the price it does the job, but the protection plastic cover does not stay on to prevent the spikes being uncovered when not using it and the foam came away after a couple of minutes using it, so buy some superglue to put it back together! Fair at best.

Poor Quality
I used this item for a Decorating Project, and when it came to using this tool for laying the carpet, the knee pad on the stretching tool fell off. Also the silver part on the Tucking Tool in the pack started to chip away after a few uses.The cutting blade got blunt when cutting the carpet away from the wall too. The job took longer switching the blade over after making a few cuts.
