• This type of ducting can be used to connect to an extractor fan in your bathroom or shower room when the duct passes through your loft or attic. In this situation warm air being extracted by the fan can condense due to the cold air above and result in water droplets coming back down into the extractor fan and possibly damaging it
• Using this type of ducting normally solves the problem as the insulation on the duct means that the air passes through without coming into contact with the cold temperature above
• Fully flexible thermally insulated aluminium ducting. Used to minimise the heat gain or loss resulting from the temperature differential between the air flow and the surrounding ambient air. The vapour barrier prevents condensation forming on the outside of ducts carrying air at lower temperatures than the surrounding air
• Aluminium reinforced multi-ply flexible duct wrapped in a 25mm high-density fibreglass for excellent friction loss characteristics and reduced levels of noise generation
• Cut to length. Maximum continuous length is 10 metres. If you enter quantity 1 you will receive 1 metre, quantity 2 you will receive 2 metres etc (in one continuous length)
• Easy to connect to either round or oval ducting. No special tools required for cutting or fixing
• In the event of a fire no toxic gases are emitted. The products have been successfully tested for fire resistance and conforms to BS476 Parts 6, 7 & 20
