Good quality product
This hose reel is a great product, solid, with a good range of accessories included. The instructions for assembly could be better! I have wall mounted mine, and it was a bit fiddly, but I got there!

super purchase
I purchased this a few weeks back now and am extremely happy with it. It was easy to mount on the wall and very easy to use. Would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of purchasing a new hose pipe this summer.

Decent bit of kit
I'd looked hard at getting a new garden hose (mainly to wash the car as the high pressure washhers can damage paintwork and fancy wheels). Most reviews I looked at (not just at B&Q) complained about kinking, poor build quality, components missing, water leaks, PhD in engineering needed to assemble, reels that don't demount from wall fixing and the dreaded kinking. This unit seems to have addressed those issues very well without being too pricey. Well made and easy to assemble with good instructions. The casing is quite sturdy. 25m is a handy length of hose - although you have to cut off about 1.5m to use for the supply from the tap. All the connectors are supplied - use the one with the red ring at the tap as it prevents syphoning. Colours are different to that shown in the photo - the case is now grey and the handles are yellow (looks nicer, cool in fact!). Probably an updated earlier model. Easy to use, providing you wind the hose in anticlockwise (as per the instructions!). Hose doesn't kink as long as you wind it out properly - in fact, best hose I've ever had for not being pone to kinking. And no water leaks. Sturdy bits (two - with rawlplugs and screws) are supplied for secure wall mounting and the unit can be easily removed. A joy to use. PS. The Hozelock multispray gun (B&Q Product code 5010646048644) works a treat with this hose and a bargain at £8 (23 Apr 2017), which I found to be the cheapest around. 5 stars!

Flimsy build quality
Bought a few months back. The case is not rigid and flexes when winding in the reel. Equally the wall fittings are not up to the job of handling the strain of winding. Hose Jamaica when rewinding even when using the device for evening out the hose on the reel. Have now stopped using it. Not the quality I expected from Hozelock.
