    NIGHT SCENTED STOCK

    Matthiola bicornis A wonderful quaint plant producing delicate small lilac flowers displayed against calming grey-green foliage. To enjoy the delicious scent at night plant as near to your home as possible. Attracts butterflies. Hardy Annual


    CHARACTERISTICS:

    Height: 30cm

    Exposure: Full sun to partial shade

    Flowering Time: June to September

    Garden Uses: Great for mass planting, planting in borders or window boxes.

    Benefits: Gorgeous gentle scent in warm summer evenings.


    GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

    Sowing Outdoors - March-June

    Spacing 15cm

    Sow seeds 0.5cm deep in moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Keep in a sunny position. When the seedlings are strong enough to handle, thin out to above spacings. Make regular sowings for a continuous display through Summer.
