This yacht varnish from Ronseal can be applied to external bare or previously varnished or stained wood & trim using a brush. The varnish takes 4 hours to dry and will cover up to 16 m² per litre on average.

It's a traditional varnish that's tougher than any other exterior varnish, and will prevent your wood from greying over time, and is flexible so won't crack, blister or peel.

How to guides
Walls almost always need some surface preparation before you can start painting. Even brand-new plaster needs sealing. You should fill any cracks and holes and make sure all surfaces are clean, smooth and dry. You can paint over emulsion-painted surfaces that are in good condition, but make certain you strip back or sand off any peeling paint.
