Product information

A vigorous, deciduous shrub producing a space saving raspberry tree. This miraculous raspberry tree has been developed by an ingenious breeder from Japan named Toshikhiko Hara. His groundbreaking new raspberry develops thick overwintering stems which are trained to form upright ‘trees’ with a strong, central trunk supporting a crown of fruiting branches. You can now enjoy raspberries in spring to early summer no matter how small your gardening space, place in a sunny spot where it will make both an attractive and edible feature. The white spring blooms are just an added bonus to this neat ‘Hararasp' raspberry. Maximum height: 75cm (30in). Maximum spread: 50cm (20in).Plant raspberry canes in autumn or winter in a sunny, sheltered spot, about 50cm (20in) apart, in rows spaced 1.5-2m (5-6ft) apart. Before planting, dig the soil over to clear it of weeds and stones, and dig in plenty of soil conditioner or well-rotted farmyard manure to improve the soil structure.Product Specifications:Position in: Full SunHeight Up to 75cm (30in)Spread Up to 50cm (20in)Flowering period: April to MayHarvest period: May to JuneImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
