A water level indicator means you can see when more water needs to be added and a connected tube funnel that sits above the soil makes it easy to top up water or fertiliser. How Does This Reservoir Work?

The Self watering Kit sits at the bottom of your VegTrug Planter under the compost. The water is then drawn from the reservoir up - directly into the plant roots. This allows for the best results, as the crops are able to draw water at their own pace, and therefore eliminates the risk of over-watering. The water level indicator on this self-watering system tells you when you'll need to refill the reservoir, so that it can carry on doing its job. A connected funnel sits above the soil for you to simply top up water or fertiliser.
