- Plant Strelitzia into containers with loam based compost such as John Innes no. 3 and place in plenty of light although protect from hot sun. Water your Bird of Paradise plant freely in the growing season and allow plenty of ventilation if growing indoors
- Suitable for Patio, Greenhouse, Conservatory
- Water well and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser during the growing season but water sparingly in winter. These plants need full protection from frosts. Bring into a conservatory or greenhouse during the winter months. Top dress the pot annually and re pot every second year.
