This is the cheapest worktop I found anywhere and it does exactly what it should! Is the design a little odd? Yes. But for £45, it could have pink dinosaurs in rainbow tutus on and would still be good. I wanted some extra workspace without spending a fortune and this has given me exactly that.
Customer service was great at B&Q Gainsborough, where someone saw me struggling to get it in my car and came over to help me. Thanks ☺️
Basically nice worktop, but with some problems

I'm using this worktop extensively in my bathroom renovation, as it's great value and goes really well with my mosaic tiles. But there are a couple of minor problems with it. Firstly, although I really like the overall finish, it's a bit let down by the 'crack-effect' white streaks which criss-cross the surface. As I say, I think they're meant to look like the cracks found in natural stone, but in practice, they look more like scratches! Having said that, they're not too noticeable once the worktop is installed, especially if it's been cut down to fit. The other problem is it's not completely flat, possibly because of how it was stored? But this can be solved by screwing the worktop down securely onto the units, or whatever flat surface it's resting on. All in all I really like this worktop, and I can live with the minor defects.

Bought this worktop pattern of what looks like scratches through it, is a dreadful design.
It was not visible through the plastic wrapper.
