Mixer showers

A mixer shower valve has two inputs, one for hot water and one for cold. These two inputs are mixed together in the shower bar to the temperature you've chosen on the easy-to-use controls. For improved safety and comfort, choose a mixer shower with a thermostatic shower valve which protects you against sudden temperature changes if someone uses water elsewhere in the house, letting you simply set and forget the temperature. As mixer showers use a hot water input, you will see best results when used with a higher pressure water system, such as a water system with a combi boiler or a pumped gravity system.
