Rubish

You get what you pay for. Chuck became unusable and then got stuck on hammer setting. Would not recommend it.

Good for the price

Needed an extra drill to make best use of a helper on a big DIY job. Lots of screws and holes. It worked, got hot but survived. Not durable but good value for short term.

Make an impact

Can't believe how good this is for the price. Only one criticism - chuck key could fit better. Otherwise a good buy.

Does the job

Not a bad drill, my only problem with it is the cord is quite short.

Super drill

I bought this drill as my cordless one wasn't powerful enough, this is a great little drill and reasonably priced

Rubbish bit of kit

I bought one of these for doing light jobs not expecting too much for the money. It turned out I was still expecting too much of it. After the first use the whole thing started to wobble and the drill bit kept coming loose even when putting some force attempting use the tool to lock it the tool itself kept skipping over the teeth as it didn't fit properly. During the second job it started to smoke but was still spinning, the third job I could not even start with it as it made a bang and a flash and that was the end of the drill. A waste of money it managed to make five holes and passed on. Buy this and prepare to be disappointed.

wow what a piece of rubbish

If you're looking for a cheap drill then this is it. If you're looking for a cheap drill that works then forget it. I have managed to drill 5 holes and now the chuck won't stay tightened and the drill bit rotates freely. Add to that the chuck key disintegrates as you try to tighten the thing and you have a totally useless drill. AVOID. Also I would like to give this zero stars but it won't let me

Great cheap drill

I bought one of these as a cheap drill whilst boat fitting. I've used and abuse the drill and its still going strong if a bit wobbly. It's been used to drill wood and 6mm steel plate using 40mm hole saws. Great drill for the money - I bought a second to use at home. The hammer switch is a pain however what do you expect at this price.

Sudden wobble in chuck

I bought this in January 2015. I wrote a good review about it 3 days ago. Today when sanding some wood the chuck suddenly began to wobble. The chuck deflects about 5 to 10 degrees now . So it`s no longer usable . I only used it on wood .

Still going strong

I bought this drill about 3 years ago whilst beginning to renovate the house and after 3 years of being stored in the garage it is still going strong and with the correct bits goes through even tough masonry with relative ease. The handle is great for that extra stability, although the chuck key wore out after a year or so and so I had to buy another. Even so, i've still spent less than £20 in total. Recommended
