Great value and a really good product
Really happy that I brought this, especially since it was on offer. The multitude of combinations and locking mechanism make this a really good piece of kit. There's latches that assist in unlocking the hinges and make it a doddle. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent value for money
Bought this after much searching. Wanted a ladder for accessing the loft and for general decorating, that would not take up much space and would fit in a car boot. All while costing as little as possible. This ladder is very sturdy, as much as previous combination or telescopic ladders I have used. It easily fits in my boot and takes up very little space. There is a knack for unlocking the hinges which isn't really detailed anywhere. Essentially you don't use the square parts next to the lock/unlock wording, wasn't obvious to me at first anyway. The order it is folded or opened can make the task easier as well. The folding may feel stiff but I didn't find it is not overly so, and preferable to no resistance which would probably cause more trapped finger injuries. One thing of note is the stabilising legs. They are wider than most, probably due to the platform functionality. In most cases they will be too wide for a loft hatch but you can either not install one end, or remove it when necessary, only two screws to undo. Finally a word on the great customer service from the checkout assistant in store. I had seen the same ladder cheaper where it could not be viewed before purchase, as promised it was price matched smoothly.

Almost impossible to use
A great idea, but the latches on each segment of the ladder are incredibly small and stiff. I cut my hands all over trying to open and close sections and one was completely immovable. Not a good buy.

Great buy.
So glad we looked at B&Q website when we needed some ladders to decorate our staircase. This set is so compact, light and so versatile. It is easy to set up and also very stable due to the stabiliser bars. A very competitive price too.

Value for the money
Happy with it. Only bit missing is a lock when folded to stop it from unfolding when carrying and storing it.

Fantastic
Great piece of kit. Bought this to renovate and decorate a two storey flat, intending to use it on the stairs but used an extending ladder and planks instead (stabiliser legs were too wide for the stairs and couldn't be bothered to remove them) but this was really useful as a platform for painting (with a scaffold plank I supplied myself), also repairing mum's shed roof. I think my husband may have his eyes on it for hedge cutting in future.

Best ladder ever!
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and have used it in most of the positions already. It's pretty straight forward to adjust and once it's clicked into position it's very sturdy and strong. I honestly can't think of a reason why anyone would want several different ladders when you can have this one and it takes up so little space. We are very very very happy with our purchase.

Fits in the Car Boot!
I needed a versatile ladder to carry out building surveys, but I only have a saloon car. This Abro combination ladder is perfect for the job. It tucks into the boot with room to spare. It has also come in very handy for reaching tree branches and climbing plants in the garden. My only niggle is the latch mechanism on the joints is hard work. It needs both hands to unlock, and I use my chin to fold the ladder! Light enough to carry one handed, but a strap is useful to stop it accidentally unfolding.
