Powerful little torch

I conduct a lot of inspections inside machinery and in dark not easy to reach places. This torch is excellent, well made, good focus and very powerful. Easy one handed operation.

Great small torch

I was looking for a small torch with high lumens (brightness) at a distance and had read reviews about Cree torches. I saw this in B&Q and in a sale and thought it was worth a try. This torch did more than I expected, lit up a large area and when put onto full focussed beam illuminated the ground up to 100 metres away, what a little gem of a torch.

Long Life & Tough

I bought one of these just over 6 years ago for use at work (Engineer on a large offshore vessel) It has had some rough use, i.e. dropped it many times, even accidentally washed it a few times in my coveralls and still worked. So good, I bought 5 of them for colleagues in the interim. Today after 6 years use, it finally stopped working, and it is actually the switch that has failed. I am heading to B & Q as soon as I get home, to buy a replacement..and maybe one to have in spare, in case they discontinue with this line in the future.

Amazing torch!

I bought two of these torches, I mounted one to my airsoft gun and use the other one for just general use, it shows that they can be used in a multitude of areas!

Great Small Powerful Zoom Torch

This is a well designed Torch. You can adjust the front lens head wide to read a map. paper or use as a work light. Its supplied with a useful wrist strap which you can also use to hang the Torch from. Next twist the lens head to narrow beam and its LED is so powerful you can view some 120m away. In this mode it also becomes a blinding security device. All this is in a very useful. small light weight. narrow Alloy chassis which holds two AA batteries. We swapped the two supplied Duracell batteries for two Lithium AA batteries which extends the Torches battery life. and reduces the torches weight even further. I recommend Varta most reliable. and I've yet to have one leak. Its great for the professional working or traveller backpacking around the world as AA batteries are one of the most popular available. Small. Light weight. Powerful. Well done B & Q

Expensive purchase that failed within 3 weeks

After about 3 weeks torch started flickering and now cannot turn it on. Haven't got receipt so can't return. Rubbish!

Awful purchase.

Bought this torch for my car and to do odd jobs but this was a complete waste of money. Torch started flickering after a week or so and then kept turning itself off. Can't find my receipt so cant return it. Really disappointed. Don't buy this.

Excellent Torch

I wanted a compact, bright, well made torch which was reliable. I got it all with this LED torch. It only needs 2 AA cells and the LED is so bright, I was well impressed. The beam cuts through the darkness and goes on for many metres. It's easy to use and the adjustable beam lends itself to all occasions. You can have the beam on narrow when outside so that it travels a good distance and floodlight is well suited for indoor use. I reserved it on-line and when I arrived at B&Q in Cardiff (Culverhouse Cross) a member of staff got it for me in seconds. Very efficient. Get one. It's worth every penny!
