Not up to scratch
Bobbobindon27 - 3 months ago
My brother bought 3 and we used them with concrete bolts. 1 split from CAREFUL drilling and the other two split when inserting the bolts. Wasted time, caused stress. How difficult is it to quality control? They were still wet inside. buyer beware. B&Q please reject rather than doing this to your customers.
Great water butt stands

I purchased the blocks to sit 2 water butts, so the height and aesthetics looked good and practical.
2 x flat
2 x sideways at a 90° angle

I built a raised planter in the garden out of these blocks and painted them... they are very heavy but all robust and in good order; I didn’t have any problems with their quality unlike other reviews... planter is very solid... bought more to build a pond structure and all seem great...
Crumbly odd sized blocks
lockie20 - 9 months ago
I bought 350 of these 8 weeks ago. I've just started using them and they are terrible. I would say I have about 25 blocks cracked in half before even using them. They are 95mm not 100mm. Edges are all rounded off, and they're really crumbly. Not like the normal grey dense blocks I've used before. These are a pink colour and just rubbish to be honest. I wish I had rejected them and told B&Q to come and pick the lot up again.
