Worked a treat
Mixed reviews, but I thought I’d give it a go for the price. Worked perfectly first time! Really happy with how it looks, and it’s super secure for my plant hanging.

Spot on
I hung a canopy & it weighed less than 10kg therefore I don’t expect it to fail. As for the hook, this does stay on, it slides on at the neck part & once on it just rotates & cannot fall or slide off unless you put it upside down or lift it.

Great for what we wanted
Obviously you can't hang a sack of coal from it but it was fine for hanging a houseplant in a macrame holder. Easy to fit if you are used to plasterboard fixings. The loose hook isn't an issue as it sits in a groove and gravity holds it in place.

Very poor
Bought this to use as a hanger in mr girls bedrooms. Wanted 2, ended up buying 4 because spring mechanism is very flimsy and sprang apart twice in the ceiling void.

Disappointed
The hook is separate to the section that is secured to the ceiling, and there is no way of securing the hook in place. Unfortunately it just slides out of the fitting very easily
