Excellent
Great quality and easy to fit. Not sure why people are having problems fitting the bulbs, they just fit in and rotate. I would highly recommend

Bon produit, sauf pb ampoules

Quality light fitting
Bought to replace a fluorescent tube fitting in kitchen. Takes 50W halogen bulbs but i'd recommend using LED and go for natural or daylight colour for best effect. The rubber suction pad used to place the bulbs in the fitting is as useful as a chocolate teapot. I t didn't work at all on my bulbs. My method worked a treat . I cut about 15 cms off of the end of a rubber resistance excercise band and then cut a hole in the centre about the size of a 10p piece. Push the bulb through the centre and holding the rubber around the bulb insert into the holder and twist as required. Worked a treat first time every time. Keep the piece of rubber with your spare bulbs for the future. Regarding fitting to the ceiling, nothing different from all similar fittings nowadays. You need someone else to hold the fitting up whilst you do the connections but then they're all like this.

Terrible
It is harder to get the lightbulbs in than put the whole lightfitting in place. Took it back avoid. Has a useless rubber suction thing that doesnt help!

Patience Needed!!!
Out of the box these lights feel cheaper than they look. Replacing the normal ceiling rose was a bit fiddly, but the worst aspect of these is inserting the lamps (which have to be purchased separately). They were very difficult to align correctly to get them to engage with the lampholders, even when using the pathetic little rubber sucker which is provided for this job, and I got very frustrated with them. I had to fit all the lamps prior to attaching the fitting to the ceiling by laying it on a flat surface with each individual lampholder pointing upwards. I dread to think how you would replace a blown lamp without taking the entire fitting down. If you are not competent with electrics don't attempt to fit these yourself as the instructions are very poor - just a series of 'cartoons'. However, once the job was complete they do look good, but next time I will go with something of better quality.
