Lovely sink
It was perfect but it is very flimsy on the drainer

buyer beware!
I didn't remove the protective film until it was installed. Please be aware that the drainer is shiny and the bowl is sort of matt. I checked and this is correct. Look at the sample before buying. Sink bowl scratches really easily. Customer service good though.

Good for the price
Purchased the Astracast sink yesterday (19-01-15) for a replacement sink in our utility room. Fitted easily and does the job ok. Pros.. Low cost and looks good. Cons... Thin Stainless steel which with a mono block tap tends to flex/bend a little when operating the tap. The fixing clips are difficult to retain in place when tightening them

kitchen sink that's got it all.
Purchased 3 weeks ago. Had installed & looks amazing. Communication was good with B & Q emailed & text to remind me of delivery on said date. Fully functional sink.

Good for the price
Looks nice and does the job, but the draining board is perhaps a little flimsy. There is an overflow hole on the side which is not clear from the picture, and is rather pointless. Have to find something now to block it as we are unable to connect a pipe to it. Take care when handling, the edges are very sharp.

Reasonable sink for the price
The sink was easy to fit and looks nice but does not feel as substantial as the one it replaced

Beware cut out instructions!
Reasonable sink for the money but beware the instructions for the cut out in the worktop. We followed instructions to the letter "mark outline, 10mm in for cut out", found ends of sink fitted well but largish gap width wise and unless you are a magician it is very difficult to centralise the sink to ensure that the clips catch the wood adequately to tighten sink to worktop on both sides. Recommend you make your own measurement between overall width (500mm) and the width of the flanges. In our case 15mm inset would have been more accurate

Excellent purchase
Excellent purchase and much bigger than our previous sink, so glad we changed it and sorry we took so long to change it. Thank you

Not bad for the price
As a kitchen fitter, I have fitted numerous sinks. Basically you pay for what you get and thought it was fine for the cost. Obviously you can't expect a rolls Royce of sinks for this price and lacks quality of the more expensive ones. Customer was happy, which is the main thing.
