Worked for 6 months then blew up!
Absolutely, rubbish. Paid £924.00 for an electric fireplace that blew up after just 6 months! Rang customer services repeatedly to be told that even though it’s still under warranty the electrical fire insert has been discontinued & that they won’t replace with any other similar type nor will they part refund. One years warranty means absolutely nothing it seems. I’m also a B&Q trade customer & spend thousands but will now go elsewhere.

Stunning fireplace
I bought this before Christmas around 16 Dec and arrived 17th Jan. Delivery guys were helpful bringing it in. It is a creamy/beige roman marble surround and black cast iron fire with granite hearth. The heat output is very good. My only criticism like another reviewer is the instructions are not great but I have incredible builders. The parts are separate and the brackets can't screw into the stone as it has no screws or holes? I find very odd so we resorted to very strong glue which luckily my builders came prepared. Also to ensure the cast iron surround stood upright a strong a piece of copper was wedged between wall & fire as there is no grip and would fall back. Extra glue was then added all around to ensure is stuck solidly. This is my only major gripe. They have it so that it slots together but it does not ! if you don't have a very strong glue and some support it will just collapse. I was lucky I have inventive builders to make it look stunning.

Dorchester
The Dorchester came this morning within the three weeks stated and all I can say is now its all assembled ( which isn't for the faint hearted as the instructions are mind blowing ) it looks seriously stunning ! Very well made ( being marble and cast iron ) only down side we had and we found remarkably cheeky ( after paying nearly a thousand pounds ) was there's no glue provided to stick the brackets on the top Over all roll on winter and bring on cosy nights !!!

Looks great.
Gorgeous fireplace suite now we have it all set up,took 12 weeks to get all the parts for it though,not the 3 weeks stated !! love it with just the warm glow light on,is quiet in that mode and it really is a fab feature in my sitting room. would recommend but you might have a wait....

nice fire
Took longer to come than the stated time but well worth the wait. Delivery team very helpful unpacked for me to check the condition all excellent.Easy to install looks really good. Easy to follow instructions. Fire looks good when lit.
