great buy
we had ours fitted 6 weeks ago, we love it, looks modern but also has the Victorian look so it really suits our Victorian house, but even if you don't have a Victorian house it would still look amazing. As for the actual fire, it does take a while to feel the benefit of the heat but then my living room is 26 feet long so maybe that's why. The grate that you can pull out at the bottom says DO NOT COVER, the instructions are very poor and I've looked online for answers to this, (no luck) as it doesn't state if when you put the fire on are you supposed to open the grate every time. I do pull it out just in case when the fires on but then when you go to close the grate you have to lift it, I'm frightened it will scratch the marble, then I have to lift the bit above the grate slightly so it will fit back in. apart from that, everyone that comes to my house thinks it's amazing.

Great looking fire
Overall I am very pleased with the fireplace, however I was disappointed that there was no proper fitting instructions or adhesive for the top brackets

Better than expected
When i saw this fireplace suite it was exactly what I was after, we couldn't have a real fire as we live in a modern house with no chimley so our only option was to buy electric but didn't want your bog standard electric fire place suite. I like old style featured houses with traditional Victorian fire and surrounds so when I saw this I was so excited. Now we have put it together it is so solid and looks lovely it makes the room. I love it really exceeded my expectations and does actually give out heat to as stated. Defiantly recomended.

Looks even better in the flesh!!
The product is far better than the ones we saw in store,the base had a chip on one corner. The delivery guys said that everyone they deliver has a chip some where before we even unwrapped it. Customer service were first class,made offers and help very quickly,most impressed!!
