Did the job!
I needed a new mortice latch as our current one had broken (crumbled) inside. It was a slightly different size, but with a bit of chiselling it fitted perfectly. It's been in the door for about 4 weeks and still works...so that's a start!!!

B&Q need to employ a mathematician
The instructions on the pack say this will fit in to a 22mm drill hole, but with the mechanism H=21.5mm, width=16.9mm, you need to take the hypoteneuse to calculate the diameter. This will only fit in to a 27.5mm dia hole. The drill bit that wasn't wide enough cost 3 times the price of the lock :(

Utter rubbish
I’ll be returning this tomorrow. It’s not 22mm at all. 26mm hole required, which the instructions on the packet say 22mm.

Instructions need updated
Used these without any bother in the past, but they've changed the design without updating the instructions on the packaging. You now need to drill a 24-25mm hole to fit, NOT 22mm as stated on the packaging!

Works well but...
Thought I could just replace worn out latch but oh no they've gone and made them rectangle instead of round shouldered so had to spend time chiselling the wood to make it fit

Very easy to fit
I bought this tubular latch to replace a broken one. This latch was well made and fit in the space from the old one easily.
