I use this in my victorian oil lamp with a duplex twin wick. Very low smell and burns bright, burns slow with no problems to the wick at all..
Very happy and would recommend.

Don’t bother asking staff where this is located, it’s usually in garden centre area..
It works fine and smokeless
Price is reasonable too
It's kerosene not paraffin

I bought this believing it was paraffin as it says on the front of the can, it's kerosene . Good old fashioned pink paraffin does not smell this bad. Not impressed.

Paraffin is paraffin is paraffin. B & Q sell it at a reasonable price. I can never find it when I go in and it’s a long way from the door so usually get the heavy stuff from local hardware even though it’s £1 more expensive. All the staff at the penistone road store are great in every way.
