Excellent product
I purchased this after returning another product which did not fit the pan. Fixing was simple, merely locate plastic bolts through holes in pan and tighten thumb turn nuts underneath. The seat and cover fixes by merely pushing onto the bolt head and then turning a plate on the seat hinge to lock into place. Removal is the reverse process, very easy to remove for thorough cleaning. The soft close mechanism is great at night and avoids the clunk of a standard seat/cover

Expensive purchase but solid and lasts ages
Have been using Bemis toilet seats for 5 years. Always get the soft close moulded wood with the white easy lift off fastenings which dont rust. I get wood as its warm to sit on especially in the winter. Only drawback is that it stains easily and I change my seat every 18 months because of this. Expensive but very easy to fit and good strong fittings.

Very easy to fit. Excellent that you can tighten the bolts with screwdriver from on top. The fact that the seat will lift off is great, will make cleaning easier - though I find the lock - unlock is quite still and difficult but I guess it has to be to keep the seat seure.f

Lovely design but has problems
The Good: Lovely design. High gloss white Very easy to install. I tried several on my toilet and this one was by far the simplest. Very sturdy fixings. Wide 7.5cm seating area Very easy to clean no ridges or corners like plastic seats. Quick release from bowl to clean around and under hinge area. Very comfortable 24 months warranty The bad: The soft close action had issues. Bringing down the seat causes the lid to come forward then spring back to hit the cistern making a loud noise. You can avoid this by using two hands - one pulling the seat and the other one holding the lid back. The seat takes forever to go down. The hinges were too long, meaning the seat was too far forward. You could see the lip of the toilet bowl behind the back of the seat. It just looked odd. The gap within the seating area was a little small. Conclusion: If it fits your toilet to your liking and soft closing it with two hands doesn't bother you then it is a great seat.

Only fits one size
Unfortunateley it only fits one size of toilet and my 20 year old one is wrong. Measure between bolt holes before buying.

Universal toilet seat ?
I bought this because it is advertised as a universal toilet seat. Yet I got it home and my rear holes are 15" apart and the seat is 15.5" apart - there is no adjustment whatsoever. How can it be advertised as universal if it can't even adjust half an inch.
