While the doorbell itself is battery powered, the receiver is powered by plugging it into a wall socket, and also features an extension socket on the front to allow you to use other appliances. The doorbell has a choice of 16 unique melodies, including the classic doorbell ringing sound. To set it up, first remove the back cover on the bell and insert the battery. Then, screw the bell mount onto any wall, and apply the bell to the mount via the adhesive patch underneath. Once installed, your new doorbell will be ready to ring!
