Poor Quality

Unable to tighten bolts without cutting the post. This is a poor quality product, stay clear.

Yes they keep the wood away from the damp but by the time the damp has got to your post by using just a post and concrete you will have just got the spike in the ground straight. Terrible design
the product is good

Your site says the item is 70mm in length but in fact it is 900 mm long.
Parts Missing and Poor Design

I bought eight of these, thinking they'd be as good as Metposts. In the store I noticed that the packets of bolts had all become separated from the spikes, and that there weren't enough bolts there for the posts I needed. Many of the spikes on display were damaged and I had to be careful to avoid taking any of those. B&Q staff kindly organised alternative bolts for me at no extra charge.
Fast forward a week to when I've done the hard work of driving in the spikes, then inserting the posts and planned to insert and tighten the bolts. The spikes are designed in such a way that, if a 75x75 post is inserted into the spike, it isn't possible to get a bolt through the eyes, because the post is in the way!
The fit is quite snug, so I'm hoping I don't need the bolts. If I do, I'll have to cut through the wood of the posts to get them in, which compromises the strength and weather-proofing of the wood.

This allowed me to install a very inaccessible fence post more easily.
