Really easy to use

I’ve used this postcrete twice recently and found it easy to use and it sets quickly if you pay attention to the instructions

Quick way of making a crazy paving path. With good preparation of the area it made it so easy rather than hand mixing concrete.

After having a nightmare with a supplier, i went to buy this product i was unsure at first.
but having 7 fence posts and 5 panels done in only a few hours i was happy with the product. dig hole fill hole with water put half a bag in with some bricks or stone, then push into gaps add more water then add the rest of the bag and top with water once again.
5 minutes later solid.
Good if instructions followed!

1. Dig hole 2. Put in post 3. Add water 4. Add post cement (while there is still water in the hole). Add more water and mix if necessary. Add gravel if want a strong cement. Works best with 2 ppl one doing water the other doing cement and gravel. All the cement powder needs to be wet (will go a darker colour) if its not all wet it won't harden... It sets within 20 mins (don't need to support post) BUT fully dry needs 24 hours.
Not set out dry after 4 days

I bought 2 bags of this to fill very shallow holes in my garage floor, max 2 cms deep but about 3 feet wide for the largest one. My garage has a front and rear door so I opened both to let a good draft in. After 4 days the postcrete still wasn't able to be brushed without leaving marks in the postcrete. It took 7 days for it to completely dry out in order to paint the floor. So I'm very disappointed from that point of view, but now it's finally dry and painted, it looks great. Yes I know it's meant for posts hence the name, but it's just a special mix of concrete at the end of the day. I won't be using it again though even for posts as I fail to see how it can set fast enough to hold a post in 30 hours, nevermind 30 mins or less as it claimed.
