Very quiet
I have dyson hot-cold fan so noisy and does not give you cool air ,but this one is best purchased i did. Work very well and extremely quiet and it is give you cool air flow ,material is heavy and quality it is not like cheap plastic material.. Very happy also i pay half price ...

This is an amazing product
I have had this product for a year in fact we have three of them. I love the speed settings I think there are four. You can also set it to fluctuate between the four speeds automatically. There is a silent setting also so you can have it running a low speed giving a gentle breeze. It oscillates left to right, up and down or up, down, left and right giving a circular motion circulating the cool breeze and all can be controlled by a remote control. For the price it is an absolute bargain. I love it

Excellent Fan!
I went on over to my local B&Q to pick this fan up after searching B&Q online. What a bargain, such a 'cool' fan for 30 quid. It's got 6 speed settings and a few different modes which can be controlled with the remote control. Super quick and easy to set up. Absolutely pleased with it, it looks fantastic in my living room and keeps me nice and cool. I'm going to pick up the smaller one for my daughter's room next. Highly recommended. Oh it's pretty silent to with its night mode which can be set on a timer.

Powerful
Great fan , quiet powerful and loads of options. Great to have the tilt function that works automatically via remote. Easy to out together and very sturdy . Brilliant

So so. Wouldn't buy another
I got this for my bedroom as it was advertised as "silent". It's fairly quiet but by no means silent. Not at all. It also clicks and creaks a bit when oscillating too. Not loads, but enough to be annoying when trying to drop off to sleep. I wouldn't buy again. I recently got a different more expensive fan with more speeds and that actually is completely silent on low speeds - but this particular fan isn't, so don't buy expecting it to be. Other reviewers who say they can't hear it are just hard of hearing to begin with. Instructions weren't great but anyone with half a modicum of common sense will have it together in no time. The controls are a bit rubbish. You have to keep pressing to cycle through the different settings, which is a bit long winded, especially for the timer. And the Infra Red remote needs to be pointed fairly precisely to work.

Blyss black fan
Bought this in sale, great bargain. Easy to assemble. I've got this on all night setting 1 just right NO noise and quite. This does it all right to left, up and down 6 speeds and a timer. Great fan.

Not as quiet as I'd hoped, oscillator bit wobbly
Bought one of these a couple of days ago and went for the more expensive one (£60) over the cheaper (£35) 'white' option as this one implied a quiet setting - my partner is a light sleeper and I wanted to be able to leave it on a timer when trying to sleep in hot weather. Unfortunately, on the lower settings (1 on quiet mode, and 2) you can hear a resonating noise over the sound over the actual fan noise and it actually makes it quite loud and distracting, so I can't use it at night because of this - I'll probably have to return it because of this. I'm hoping it's just a fault with this particular one as I noticed that the motion isn't completely smooth in the figure 8 oscillating mode. If something is loose it may explain the noise I'm hearing but it's none of the attaching points as I was quite thorough with the assembly. Excluding the resonating noise it would be very quiet, I hope B&Q see this comment and offer some guidance or a replacement. I've attached a video to illustrate the noise and motion.
