Great fan, poor electronics
Fantastic fan ruined by over engineered electronics. Every time restart fan, have to go through a lot of levels out of 24. Frustrating!

This is a fantastic fan
Ok reading some of the comments is quite Amusing, I get that the beeping sound is quite annoying , they should of thought about being able to turn that off , the motor is silent , you may only hear something if it’s on wood floor like my bedroom is but I put something under the stand and you can’t hear a thing . 24 speed setting!! I never thought I’d spend an hour playing around with all the settings , seeing which works best, I can’t really make out that there’s much difference in speed ie speed 2 to speed 4 the blade seems to spin the same speed. The controller is amazing no need to get up anymore, or play around with it sitting in front pressing the buttons on the unit, the led display is great , overall its built well looks premium and if you want a hurricane in your room please make sure you put it to speed 24 , would totally recommend this fan to anyone . Very happy B&Q

Not so cool
So glad I didn't get this fan when it was full price as would have felt totally ripped off. For a fan with 24 settings you would expect something resembling a tornado but this, on the top settings gives just a bit of a breeze and the low settings are just useless. I think this fan was made to look the biz to fool the consumer into paying a high price for something that doesn't nearly match up to the three speed fans and as for the small blades that are used to hold the main blade on, I haven't got a clue what effect that is supposed to have. Also the symbols on the remote are very hard to see and when changing settings it makes loud beeps so would be no good in a house full of light sleepers. Better luck next year I hope.

Baffled
Bought this yesterday and not even one nut was included so im not able to use it... find it odd as iv paid £36.50 for a fan i cannot use.

Top class engineering.
Tip: To change the fans's speed, press and hold the - or + button on remote control for 3 seconds. Keep looking at display on the fan. It start to decrease or increase speed. Release it when your are done. It makes only 1 beep. No more irritating beeps.

Best product
This is the third fan I bought after returning two fan earlier. Easy to assemble plus this fan comes with Eco mode. Which means the motor is not getting hot from the back and keeps the room cooler. Double fan adds up the performance. I bought in sale but product is worth even with the full price.

Very silent fan blades, shame about all the beeps
Bought this expensive fan for our bedroom. As other reviewers have stated, the lowest speeds are almost inaudible, but still produce a lovely, gentle cooling breeze. This is exactly what we wanted. Higher speeds (above 9) get a bit louder but produce more wind. The highest speed setting (24) is very fast, very loud and generates a gale in the room. Our biggest gripe is that on switching the fan on, it ALWAYS starts at speed 18 (fast and loud). Turning it down to the nearly inaudible speed settings requires multiple (17x) presses on the minus speed control, which sequentially drops from 18 to 17, then 16, then 15 etc until you reach speed 1 or 2. Each of these presses generates a loud confirmatory beep - the very last thing you need from a fan which was bought to run silently at night. I wish that it remembered the last setting and jumped directly to that when switched on. I also wish that it was possible to switch off the bleeps. Such a pity that the manufacturer built such a silent fan, only for the electronic control system programmer to ruin that silence by forcing users to start the fan in hurricane mode and making all those beeps mandatory. A much better beta test system is needed !

Whisper quiet on low setting, ideal for bedroom
I have been looking for a quiet fan that can be left to run overnight. I thought 24 speeds was overkill but took a chance because I thought it might offer a slow, quiet option. It definitely does. Anything up to speed 4 is pretty much inaudible and shifted enough air to keep me cool on a hot humid night. I haven't used the swing action - that may be noisier. The remote also seemed unnecessary but it's nice being able to turn it off without getting out of bed! Worth the extra money in my view.

Good fan loud motor
Definitely sturdy. Great range on the speed settings. Sleep timer works fine. When the fan is blowing on static mode it's quiet it's quiet enough, but as soon as you set it to turn the fan head it's loud and clunky. There are better options out there.

Love this fan
I panic bought this fan on a hot day and was a bit worried I’d overspent but I love this fan. Sturdy and very powerful and the remote is great to get the setting just right.
