Highly recommend
I’ve had this drill for over 4 years. What a great drill. Easy to use especially for the noob. Feel like it’s really upped my game in terms of DIY. Would highly recommend for your day to day diy jobs. If you need something with more power consider an impact driver.

3 years light use then it died
When it was working it did the job as a lightweight drill, screwdriver, battery held a good charge. But only 3 years of light use? Not good enough. My bigger Ryobi has been powering on for 9 years now, best cordless I ever had. Will not buy Bosch again after this experience.

best cordless drill ever made
I purchased this drill over 5 years ago and it is still going strong. It has magnificent torque and will force crews into 6"x6" timber with ease. The hammer function is ideal for screw nails and self tapping bolts.I wish Bosch still made this drill but it is sadly no longer manufactured and the similar looking ones are nowhere near the same level of power and performance. Sadly this is the nature of the game, if something is great value, reliable and exceeds your expectations it will soon be replaced with something that fails to deliver on every level.

Excellent
Probably the best 50 odd quid I have ever spent on a power tool. Powerful, versatile and easy to use.

Brilliant drill
Great drill and screwdriver. Such good value. Really powerful, screws and drills with ease. Lightweight and charges quickly. Robust and well made and all boxed. Absolute bargain.

Reasonable drill BUT NOT AS PICTURED or DESCRIBED
I bought this drill simply because the charger for my Bosch 1800 Li-2 4AII 18v 1.5 Ah had packed up and the description says this drill has the same same charger and the picture also shows it as having the same charger. However on delivery today it has a different charger which although does charge my bigger capacity battery, it no longer holds the charge for long enough and takes twice as long at least to charge. The picture and description are therefore misleading and had I known this was the case I would have paid the extra money for the correct charger as a stand alone bit of kit. That said the drill itself is the same from the range of tools I use from Bosch and it is okay. Ideal for jobs around the house but not a workmans tool or a tool for drilling into masonry, steel or screwing anything beyond 3 inch screws. Think of it as an entry level drill that is well made and is comfortable to hold and weighs very little compared to other drills. The chuck on these drills is a bit tempermental and ultimately from experience with these, its the chuck or the battery charger that packs up first. For the money its reasonable.

Great drill for home
They gave it to me for my birthday three years ago, she did some renovations in the apartment and a lot of work in the country. Generally excellent quality, only recommend buying a second battery

Avoid Bosch power drills
I bought a Bosch PSR 1800 hand drill from B & Q. The battery will not separate from the drill. Took it back to B & Q more than once when they managed to separate them. Still will not separate. Next time, B& Q could not do it. They don't want to know because it's more than 12 months from purchase. B & Q have my money: I have a naff piece of Bosch equipment. Avoid Bosch; don't get stuck the way I am.
