Great to have 3 matching Bosch appliances at last.
The set up looks good and I chose the metal trim on the microwave to match the metal of the warming drawer as the oven was all black. I am disappointed however that the rotary selector is not also stainless steel finish. It looks a little cheaper than the rest of the microwave which is fabulous.

Do not purchase
Now on my second of these microwaves and it looks like I will need to replace this one. Same fault as first faulty door opening solenoid which keeps on bringing up a error code E3. Plus expansion and contraction noises as it heats up and cool down.

A bit fiddly to install in a fitted kitchen unit, but once installed it works nicely and intuitively. Easy to operate and clean

Some design defects - Broken after 7 months
The microwave is easy to use in terms of instructions and display functions. A few quality issues that I would like to point out: The door is slightly skew and not in line with the control panel. Steam escapes from the bottom of the door. We have had our product for 7 months and it's broken. The door does not open anymore and the control panel already needs replacing due to error message.

Has a mind of it’s own!
We have had this microwave and other Bosch appliances installed in a new kitchen and this is the only one causing a problem. We have only used it on a couple of occasions to heat some ready meals. It was fine heating the first one (3 minutes) but stopped working after about a minute on the second one-everything shut down! We left it for a few minutes-nothing, took out the plug-nothing! After another ten minutes we switched it back on and it was working again. Clock needed resetting. This has now happened on two occasions so we will be contacting Bosch to see if the problem can be resolved.

Our built-in microwave looks fantastic in our new kitchen. It matches the oven and hob which are also bosch. I love the touch open feature, it is easy to clean. Very happy with it
