Maybe it's just me . . .
I bought the Rotak40 two years ago and this is my third replacement blade. The mower itself performs excellently but stones and other debris soon chip and blunt the blade, especially when working around the lawn edges. Obviously I am not a careful gardener, so perhaps it is unfair to doubt the quality of the "hardened" steel used. There may be compatible and less expensive blades available but I suspect they would not be any better than Bosch's.

Bosch Replacement Blade For Rotak 40 Lawnmower
does exactly what it says on the tin, easy to fit comes complete with new bolt and locking washer, good quatity as you would expect from Bosch

Great replacement
The original blade was fine but having had some garden work done, small/large stones in the garden lawn destroyed the original blade. I resharpened it and continued using until I had removed most of the stones. With that done I decided to get a new Bosch blade. Reserve and collect was quick and straightforward as was fitting the new blade. It now works smoothly with less vibration like the original. Good price too.

Blade Runner
Blade is a perfect replacement for etither the Rotak 40C or Rotal 400C even though it does not clearly show this on the product or on the B&Q website
