Only 2 1/2 years old now and it's just failed.
I loved this dryer and for the last 2 1/2 years it's worked a treat. Typically just as the warranty runs out the dryer has now failed, dumping all of the water into the bottom of the machine. For the price we paid of £650 I would really expect this machine to last a minimum of at least 5 years and not half of that time. Very dissapointed in the overall quality and lifespan of this Bosch machine, I really expected better from this company :-(

Could be better
Display is clear but can be hard to read at an angle. can often set dial to wrong setting again due to angle it is viewed from. The machine does dry well and efficiently but the lack of reverse tumble is a major let down in my opinion as Duvets and large sheets will roll into a ball and not dry properly on the insisde. Bosch say the lack of tumble effect is for energy efficiency but I'm not sure how clockwise is more efficient than anti clockwise, I think the real reson is it's cheaper to manufacture.. Next tumble dryer I buy will have reverse tumble if that's not Bosch then so be it.

Takes a day to get one load dry
Really unhappy with this tumble dryer. It takes a whole day to get a load of washing dry, and we have to keep putting it on a timed cycle. We've cleaned it out regularly and tried all that we can to help with the cycle, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Also the touch screen doesn't work properly and doesn't register pressing the buttons. Not what I was expecting from an expensive dryer after only 3 years.

Solid but wish it had a cool drying option
Had this dryer for 3 years and it's on almost daily. It has been great only wish it could dry on a cooler temperature so you can dry items with plastic print that can't handle high heat. Minor thing would be the ability to open the water compartment so it could be cleaned inside more easily.

Dryer has never worked.
I'm not sure just how well these dryers are supposed to work. I have been moaning about mine ever since I bought it in 2021 and I've finally given up on it now. I've hardly ever used it but today I thought I'd give it another try. I put a small load of underpants and vests in taken straight out of my Bosch washing machine (which does work) and set the dryer running. Nearly 7 hours later the washing was still damp and as I say, I've given up and the washing is now drying on my trusty clothes airer.

Unreliable - broken down twice
When it works it's ok though it doesn't seem to pump out the water from the condenser tank through the waste outlet the way it's supposed to. Much worse, now it's broken down for the second time within three years. I do hope we extended that warranty.

Great dryer
We have had this dryer for 3 years. Really happy with it. Dries perfectly. Only dropped a star as currently waiting for a part to repair the machine. 5 year warranty helps though!

Very quiet, well built, lots of programs only drawback is the filter is always full but thoroughly recommend!

Brilliant dryer
We've just had our daughter and family staying with us for the past week which has trippled our washing. With the persistently wet weather the tumble dryer was extremely busy and was certainly up to the job. Ok so it does take a little longer but it is economical and very effective. An excellent buy, highly recommended.
