This product is great
We were advised by a staff member to buy this product and it worked well bonded the cement bricks very well .

Great fire cement
Used to rebuild on an Aga fire chamber. I have nothing bad to say and would use again. Also a decent size without the ridiculous cost at the screw and tool places.

Useful stuff - not easy to find
Bit more than I actually needed so most of the tub is wasted. But at least they had some!

Easy to use
Excellent value for money sized tub compared to some other products.

So, so
The product is hard to apply and 1kg tub covers one side of a small wood burner so you will need 3 tubs.

Worked for what I needed it for
Used this for a small project using an old BBQ. It has absolutely done the trick. More like a putty, so ended up just putting gloves on and applying it with my hands. Also applied it a bit thick so it didn't cure properly, but patched it with leftovers and worked a dream.

Better than expected!
Really easy to use, more like a putty than cement, very easy to handle. Great product.

Incredibly hard to apply
This is NOT cement it's more like mastic and its practically impossible to apply to anything that's already got hot. I've prepared the surface to the instructions, but it's so sticky it won't come off the tools even if they've been wetted. I've resorted to just globbing it into the cracks on the end of a pointing tool and smoothing it with wet fingers. I don't hold out much hope for its adhesion to the substrate.

Good to work with
Bought this cement to repoint between the bricks in my fireplace before installing a stove. Lightly wet the area first and it was great to work with. Any in perfections, just wet the cement slightly and give it a light rub (that's what she said ) . The only down side is that if you don't have direct hear on the cement , it days alot more that 34hours to dry.

Great product and done just the job
I bought two of these recently to cover some old broken tiles that were on an old Victorian fireplace. The tub doesn't say it, but you must add water. Gradually add it in as you can't take it away once added. You don't want it too funny either.
