Keep your Brabantia rotary dryer in place with the Brabantia Ground Spike – for sturdy anchorage without using concrete. Includes a closable cap made of galvanised steel plate making it corrosion resistant.
- Guarantee - 5 years
- Before positioning the ground spike or ground tube, look for a good spot for the rotary, if possible in a sunny position and not under a tree or over a garden path. Ensure that there is enough space to unfold and rotate the rotary. If the rotary is not in use, always close the ground spike or ground tube. The cap prevents dirt and dirt cap does not obstruct grass cutting.

Keeping it green - reusing my old rotary dryer
Moved house and it was great to move my trusty rotary dryer too. Only need new ground spike and we’re off and blowing in the wind!

Decent product...
Decent quality, always seems a tad slack holding the base of the rotary post! Have used a trimmed down plastic milk bottle to stop wag. Can be a bit tricky to drive into the ground straight.

Not compatible
Just an FYI, this isn’t compatible with other brands, has to be this make otherwise it doesn’t fit properly

Excellent product
This is very sturdy and went in the ground easily despite a few stones in the ground. Excellent value for money, very pleased with my purchase.

Beware stones or rocks below ground
I needed to move the position of our washing pole - it is a good unit, but took some time to install. Instructions on the packaging assume the ground is perfect with no sizeable stones, etc. below. This is rarely the case and some helpful guidance from the manufacturer would be welcomed. An exploratory dig may be useful to decide whether a unit to cement in might be better.

Good quality
Good solid metal spike. Hard work knocking it into the ground but worth the effort. Will last for many years. Red cap finishes off the hole nicely when the rotary drier is removed.

Wrong size
I've had Brabantia line for years with a Brabantia spike which always fitted perfectly, however this new one seems to wide and does not come with sleeve adjustments. Its a very good sturdy spike just a shame about the sizing issue.
