Reviews
Awkward to fit
AgathaH - 3 months ago
I wish I had seen the reviews for these before I bought them. No logical explanation why the screws are flatheads and are also way too close to the knob which makes it impossible to fit at a straight angle.
Horrible to fit, poor quality, cheap rubbish.

I bought this pack of 3. . .
The bars that slide though the center are quite long, you would need something like a 4"/100mm wide door for them to fit out of the box, so you need to cut them.
The screws are flat heads, which makes fitting more difficult, the screws end up going in at an angle because of the flat heads and the knob of the handle not allowing you to screw at a straight angle.
The screws are made from very soft metal, this means they can snap but also they blunt very quickly, so even if you mark and drill the holes, there's a chance these screws will just snap half way though.
The handles themselves, the return spring is basic and poor.
Some of mine rattle, seems like the spacers are not very precise.
Overall 0/10, literally nothing good about them.
Waste of money.

I bought two packs, not one of the four I have tried work very well. The securing clip washer at the back is so tight that the latch will not go back on it’s own. I usually live by the saying of buy cheap, buy twice. Exactly what I will have to do. Buy some from elsewhere, lesson learned.
so easy to fix and such good value

I bought these recently as the handles on my doors were old and dull. What a difference SO pleased with the result!!
You get what you pay for

Bought a couple of sets for new doors. Quality is reasonable , just , not much weight and finish looks very thin so in no doubt they won't last long. In addition the screws are very weak. At least B&Q are consistent with quality standards. However they look OK and work ok. Advice though is pay a bit more. Given a poor assessment due to expectation of better quality and some of the screw heads breaking off with only minimal pressure.
