Looks classy but...
Wonderful door knobs, they really do look classy and expensive. I ordered 3 pairs of these. However on one of them the gold has started peeling off (quite a lot!) to reveal a silver handle underneath. This makes it look very cheap and tacky. I've only had it installed for about 4 months. Personally I wouldn't buy these again - spend a bit more money and get something slightly higher quality that will last longer. Shame as they really did look good beforehand.

Hard work to install
The design means you can't actually get a screwdriver in to put the screes in. The screws snap and are very poor quality. If you like making life difficult for yourself, buy these? They do look nice though?

Good quality, Smart Looking
Bought for a scenery project. Good quality parts. Door attachment screws are somewhat obscured by the round door knob so a long screwdriver and care is needed not to damage polished surfaces when fitting.

Spindle bar does not fit door size advertised
As per previous reviews it's difficult to get the screws in, but my main complaint is the spindle bar must be cut as it DOES NOT fit the door size shown on the packaging (35 - 44mm), in fact the spindle bar positions the handles more than 76mm (3") apart.

Unfit for purpose
The knob itself obstructs the screws from being fitted to the door. Very poor design. Wish I had read the other review before purchase

FITTING OF HANDLES
I bought this to fit on a cupboard door. The screws to fix into the door are impossible to screw into the door due to the knob obstructing the screws/screw driver even with a small ratchet set screw driver. Scratched the knob trying to fit it. B&Q need to have it redesigned so the knob can be removed from the back plate prior to fixing the backplate to the door/surface. Looks nice in the packaging but not bought for the packaging. It is UNFIT for purpose but could not return as the packaging was already thrown away
