A doorbell that can be heard
Our old one broke and we needed a doorbell that, living on a main road, and a deaf husband, was loud. This one can be low or loud and does the trick

Byron doorchime BY503
Very poor, I’m now on my second one in matter of weeks, last one was only exchanged 4th Nov 2017 and installed 8th Nov 2017, this morning (12th) it has developed exactly the same fault, Bell on porch is transmitting to unit in hall BUT unit starts melody then STICKS and just clicks like a record stuck in a grove. When I took previous one back to Stockport I asked if they had any others had been taken back with same issue and they said no. I think that receiver has a faulty chip in and possibly whole batch is faulty, anyway latest is going back for refund. No stars but to submit review are force to enter star rating

Reasonable
Looks to be well built for the price as the wireless range seems to be good. The selection of chimes is limited (okay if you want melody) - a couple of variations on "ding-dong" wouldn't have gone amiss! Odd that the chime selection is made from the rear of the button rather than the receiver though.

Easy to install and set up, not very loud.
I am not great at DIY but found this easy to set up, could have done with a measuring grid to assist with putting the bell on the wall as had to measure and guess with drilling holes, but fine in the end. Would like the ringer to be a bit louder as it is still fairly quiet on full.

Fab doorbell
Really nice looking doorbell with good choice of chimes. Only downside is the ringer is loud if your not too far from the ringer bit, if I go upstairs or back of my garden I do Move it so it's easier to hear. But overall very pleased

Not happy
Not impressed with this product as at the cost of £35 it does not have a cover on the battery compartment . As it is portable I would expect the batteries not to fall out.

Superb!!
Does exactly what we wanted. 6 chimes to choose from, a doddle to fit. Would recommend !!

Superb!
Excellent doorbell, can be heard from the bottom of the garden and doesn't use up nearly so many batteries as the old one. Not the prettiest but very effective.

Useful commuincation device at home
We bought it not as a doorbell but to allow my disabled wife, whose voice is weak to call me from another room. It works (another cheaper one did not). Only snag - the bell press was too stiff for her but by fiddling and reversing the button to make it more sensitive we have made it work well. A real help.
