chrome cover corroded and pimpled
Overcame the problem with the screws by changing them, allowing us to use it happily for the duration of the guarantee period but since then it has progressively become corroded under the surface of the chrome and looks awful.

Do not buy
Why didn't I look at the reviews first. B&Q should be ashamed of themselves for stocking products that are rubbish. As everyone says, the screws are too small and the underside actually slopes out to push the wire out. B&Q, stop stocking this item and go and investigate a proper doorbell. This has even put me off buying anything from B&Q, as their buyers obviously do not have a clue what they are doing.

Absolute rubbish
Bought twice in one hour both returned, the retainer screws to connect cable's much to small to clamp on wires,one screw didn't retighten at all, do not waste your time with this product.

Read a review and thought it cant be that bad well let me tell you its the worst design ever and not fit for purpose bigger headed screws to hold the wire is required simple fix ! do not buy

poor design
This product looks ok hence i gave it 2 stars but it was very difficult to install. Every time you tried to tighten the screw onto the wire it just squeezed the wire out. This is a major design flaw and the product is not worth the money in my opinion.
